Album Notes & Community Reviews

The second album from the diverse fusion ensemble Caldera presents an intoxicating blend of fiery Latin percussion and slick, synthesizer-laden jazz-funk. Co-led by keyboardist Eduardo del Barrio and guitarist Jorge Strunz, 'Sky Islands' weaves warm, sensual melodies into highly complex, rhythmic structures. It offers a quirky yet heavily polished take on global instrumental fusion.
