Album Notes & Community Reviews

Produced by In Flames' Anders Frid茅n, 'The Undying Darkness' signifies Caliban's full embrace of clean, highly melodic choruses within their heavy metalcore sound. The German band contrasts aggressive, misanthropic guitar riffs with passionate clean singing to explore pessimistic themes of self-hatred. The album successfully bridged the gap between the European metal scene and the booming American metalcore market.
