Album Notes & Community Reviews

Serving as the official soundtrack to an independent feature film directed by frontman Tim Rutili, this release weaves traditional Americana with glitchy experimental rock. The arrangements mix acoustic guitars and banjos with synthesizers, tape loops, and clattering percussion to evoke a haunted, rural atmosphere. The multimedia project stands as a high-water mark for the band's distinctive, avant-roots sound.
