Album Notes & Community Reviews
'Killa Season' is a sprawling gangsta rap project that effectively served as a soundtrack to the Harlem rapper's self-directed film of the same name. The production pairs pitched-up soul samples with the booming, triumphant beats characteristic of the Diplomats collective. The album perfectly balances aggressive urban crime narratives with Cam'ron's uniquely playful, humorous, and highly boastful lyrical delivery.
