Lucy

Album Notes & Community Reviews

Tasked with following up the massive, multi-platinum success of their debut, Candlebox delivered a noticeably darker, significantly more aggressive sophomore effort with 'Lucy'. The album intentionally scales back the radio-friendly ballads in favor of heavier, more complex hard rock arrangements and deeply anxious lyrical themes. While less commercially successful than its predecessor, it is widely considered a more mature, musically ambitious post-grunge statement.
