Album Notes & Community Reviews

Abandoning their grindcore roots entirely, Carcass single-handedly defined the melodic death metal blueprint with 'Heartwork'. The album is characterized by incredibly tight, dual-guitar harmonies, heavy rhythmic precision, and aggressive vocal delivery that perfectly balances sheer brutality with accessible melody.
