Album Notes & Community Reviews

A dizzying, theatrical amalgamation of progressive rock complexity, punk energy, and circus-like orchestration, this album is gloriously manic and utterly unclassifiable. Tim Smith and his sprawling ensemble utilize rapid-fire time changes, dissonant brass, and choral flourishes at a frenetic, deeply exhausting pace. It is a profoundly influential, quirky cult classic that defies simple categorization, sounding entirely alien yet incredibly tight and technical.
