Album Notes & Community Reviews

Following her move to Capitol Records, Carole King embraces a breezy, sun-drenched California aesthetic on 'Simple Things'. The compositions trade the intimate piano-driven melancholia of her early catalog for upbeat, mellow soft-rock arrangements celebrating domestic contentment. The warm, inviting production captures a contented phase in the legendary songwriter's career.
