Album Notes & Community Reviews
Recorded shortly after the tragic passing of David Berman, whom Jenkins was scheduled to tour with, this sophomore album serves as a profound meditation on grief and healing. Producer Josh Kaufman frames her gentle, conversational vocals with lush ambient textures, fretless bass, and field recordings. The record was highly praised for its observational lyricism and deeply soothing, atmospheric folk arrangements.
