Album Notes & Community Reviews

Propelled by massive singles like 'Mulder and Scully', the Welsh outfit's sophomore breakthrough became a quintessential artifact of the late-90s Cool Cymru cultural movement. Cerys Matthews' fiercely distinctive vocal trill and sharp, radio-ready alternative pop songwriting firmly embedded the group into the mainstream consciousness of the Britpop era.
