Album Notes & Community Reviews

Written in relative isolation in a mountainous region of the Lake District while the Welsh artist attended furniture-building school. The record is a masterpiece of quirky, lethargic art-pop, heavily featuring bright synthesizers, prominent saxophone, and her signature surreal, existential lyricism. It earned her a prestigious Mercury Prize nomination and universal praise for its brilliantly eccentric songwriting.
