Signing to a major label did little to dilute the bizarre, politically charged theatricality of this seminal Italian punk collective. The album violently juxtaposes mechanical drum machines and abrasive art-punk energy with complex meditations on Soviet aesthetics, Middle Eastern motifs, and Catholic iconography.
