Album Notes & Community Reviews
Comprising an extended, nearly hour-long continuous suite, this recording captures the virtuosic pianist leading an expanded, explosive free jazz ensemble. The highly percussive, aggressively dense piano improvisations are matched by a frantic rhythm section and a blistering horn frontline. The album is a brilliant document of his ferocious, structurally uncompromising approach to modern avant-garde music.
