Album Notes & Community Reviews
Captured at the 1976 Donaueschingen festival, this abrasive set finds Taylor commanding a ferocious quintet featuring saxophonist David S. Ware. The intensely dense, hyper-energetic performance is an unrelenting assault of collective, dissonant free-improvisation that tests the physical limits of the ensemble.
