Album Notes & Community Reviews
A dazzling showcase of Cecil Taylor's unparalleled solo piano technique, recorded without accompaniment during a session in Germany. The album highlights his signature percussive approach to the instrument, constructing dense, rapidly shifting tonal clusters that blur the lines between contemporary classical composition and kinetic free jazz[cite: 1].
