Album Notes & Community Reviews

Rising from the ashes of Hellhammer, Celtic Frost refined their primitive noise into a devastatingly heavy, highly influential hybrid of thrash and early black metal. Thomas Gabriel Fischer's iconic, guttural death grunts drive relentlessly aggressive, down-tuned guitar riffs steeped in dark, occult-driven lyricism. 'Morbid Tales' is an incredibly rhythmic, energetic, and historically vital precursor to extreme metal.
