Album Notes & Community Reviews

The celebrated Brazilian vocalist delivers a gorgeously lush, immaculately orchestrated album deeply indebted to the opulent grooves of 1970s Philly Soul and warm pop reggae. Flawlessly integrating MPB textures with deeply sensual, fiercely poetic reflections on romantic love, the record is both profoundly passionate and gently bittersweet. It stands as a timeless, incredibly tropical masterclass in contemporary smooth soul.
