Album Notes & Community Reviews

Conceived as the soundtrack for an unreleased science fiction film, the wildly eccentric Canadian songwriter delivers a remarkably cohesive, delightfully bizarre exploration of lo-fi folk rock. 'Shrink Dust' incorporates vintage drum machines, pedal steel guitars, and weird analog synthesizers beneath his fragile, high-register vocals. The album is a profoundly quirky, highly melodic, and wonderfully abstract indie-folk experiment.
