Album Notes & Community Reviews

The Texas-based avant-garde trio released an incredibly stark, deeply psychedelic exploration of free-folk and improvised drone. Dominated by Christina Carter's haunting, ethereal vocals and remarkably slow, meandering acoustic guitar work, the deeply lo-fi recordings prioritize a chilling, hypnotic atmosphere over traditional song structure. It remains a critically revered, highly elusive masterpiece of the 1990s American underground noise-folk scene.
