Album Notes & Community Reviews

Operating as a true multi-instrumentalist, the Beirut-based composer delivers the first contemporary release for the archival Habibi Funk imprint. 'Marzipan' is an immaculate instrumental pastiche of vintage Arabic jazz, fuzzy Anatolian rock, and cinematic library music from the 1970s. The record projects a deeply warm, summery, and highly melodic atmosphere, brimming with lush analog instrumentation.
