Album Notes & Community Reviews

Reviving his politically charged large ensemble, bassist Charlie Haden utilizes sweeping arrangements by Carla Bley to interpret global struggles for justice. Incorporating poetry by Langston Hughes and traditional Latin American protest anthems, 'Dream Keeper' stands as a majestic, spiritually urgent fusion of avant-garde jazz and choral grandeur.
