Album Notes & Community Reviews

Captured on a rudimentary wire recorder at the St. Nicholas Arena, this bootleg-quality release is highly prized purely for the completely uninhibited fire of the alto saxophonist's soloing. Despite the severe audio limitations, it provides a vital, unfiltered glimpse into a legendary bebop residency.
