In the Earth Again

Album Notes & Community Reviews

On the collaborative album 'In the Earth Again', the abrasive noise rock and sludge metal of Chat Pile merges with the avant-garde and American primitive guitar work of Hayden Pedigo. The result is a dynamic exploration of mood and texture, where Pedigo's often tranquil, fingerpicked soundscapes are tinged with a visceral, metallic grit from the band's industrial-tinged arrangements. This fusion creates a sound that alternates between moments of intense, snarling aggression and sparse, atmospheric post-rock, evoking a sense of post-apocalyptic dread and fragile beauty.
