Album Notes & Community Reviews

Formed as a short-lived side project by Kyuss and Queens of the Stone Age drummer Brant Bjork alongside Unida bassist Dave Dinsmore, this desert rock trio delivers a tightly focused debut. 'Sounds of Liberation' relies heavily on massive, fuzzy groove riffs and aggressive, driving rhythms. The record remains a highly regarded, potent artifact of the fertile Palm Desert stoner rock scene.
