Album Notes & Community Reviews

An early hallmark of the prolific Chicago outfit, this album embraces jarring time signatures and complex, discordant arrangements. The chaotic blend of heavy noise rock dynamics with strict progressive structures foreshadowed the math rock movement of the following decade. Its confrontational, rhythmic intensity reflects the uncompromising vision of founder Thymme Jones.
