Album Notes & Community Reviews

Paying homage to the legendary Billie Holiday, 'Baker's Holiday' features the trumpeter interpreting her signature repertoire accompanied by a large ensemble. The lush, brass-heavy arrangements provide a dramatic contrast to Baker's famously detached, melancholic vocal delivery and delicate cool jazz phrasing.
