Album Notes & Community Reviews
Ushering in a highly lucrative, heavily polished era for the veteran horn-rock group, 'Chicago 16' fully embraced contemporary studio technology and outside songwriters. Under the guidance of producer David Foster, the band scored a massive comeback with the soaring ballad 'Hard to Say I'm Sorry'. The project effectively redefined their legacy for the MTV generation, prioritizing smooth, adult-oriented rock over complex jazz-fusion.
