Album Notes & Community Reviews
Produced by David Foster, this colossal commercial smash marks the definitive transformation of the band from a jazz-rock horn ensemble into a slick, synthesizer-driven soft rock juggernaut. Powered by Peter Cetera's soaring vocals and massive balladry like 'Hard Habit to Break', it became the highest-selling album of their extensive career. Following its release and subsequent tour, Cetera departed to pursue a highly successful solo path.
