The Infection

Album Notes & Community Reviews

The Cleveland heavy metal sextet embraces a significantly slower, darker, and more atmospheric groove metal approach on their fifth studio album. Co-produced by Ben Schigel, the record relies on massive, brooding riffs and prominent electronic sequencing rather than the frantic speed of their earlier metalcore releases. It marks a deliberate, highly successful attempt to craft a more suffocating and mechanical sound.
