Album Notes & Community Reviews

Recorded in Kathmandu, 'Selwa' reunited the Tibetan Buddhist nun and chant master Ch枚ying Drolma with guitarist Steve Tibbetts seven years after their first collaboration, 'Ch枚'. Drolma had entered Nagi Gompa nunnery at thirteen and served as attendant to Tulku Urgyen Rinpoche, while percussionist Marc Anderson completes the recording's small cast; the title word means luminous, clear, awake.
