Album Notes & Community Reviews

Stepping momentarily away from their primary band The Walkabouts, Chris Eckman and Carla Torgerson deliver a devastatingly beautiful, heavily acoustic side project. 'Life Full of Holes' leans intensely into the glacial pacing of slowcore and the stark, melancholic storytelling of gothic Americana. The album is a profoundly intimate, highly poetic reflection on loss, showcasing their impeccable vocal harmonies over sparse, weeping string arrangements.
