Album Notes & Community Reviews

Serving as his fifth studio album, this multi-platinum release heavily prioritized massive, club-oriented electronic pop over traditional R&B arrangements. The production heavily incorporates pulsing electro-house synthesizers and incredibly aggressive drum programming designed specifically for European festival mainstages. Despite enormous commercial success and high-profile guest features, the album was widely criticized for its perceived lyrical superficiality and highly synthesized, generic vocal effects.
