Album Notes & Community Reviews

Captured at the Village Vanguard, this intimate set highlights the vocalist's characteristically smoky, vibrato-less tone and highly sophisticated phrasing. The remarkably cool, understated delivery beautifully transforms standard jazz repertoire into deeply personal, intensely moody jazz narratives.
