Album Notes & Community Reviews

Saxophonist Chris Potter leads his formidable electric ensemble through a wildly inventive set of complex post-bop and jazz fusion. Anchored by Craig Taborn鈥檚 Fender Rhodes, Wayne Krantz鈥檚 angular guitar work, and Nate Smith鈥檚 polyrhythmic drumming, the group fearlessly deconstructs everything from original avant-garde compositions to a startling cover of Radiohead's 'Morning Bell'. It is a stunning display of modern improvisational jazz.
