Album Notes & Community Reviews

A studio album by Middlesbrough-born singer and slide guitarist Chris Rea, 'King of the Beach' continues his blues-influenced pop rock in a relaxed, summer-weighted register, including the single 'All Summer Long'. Rea's gravelled vocal and slide guitar lead arrangements built for radio, in the idiom he had maintained since the late 1970s.
