Tennis

Album Notes & Community Reviews

Chris Rea's third studio album further refined his gravelly-voiced, laid-back approach to pop-rock. Featuring sophisticated arrangements and lush adult contemporary production, 'Tennis' leans heavily on mid-tempo ballads and blues-inflected soft rock grooves. The record helped solidify his distinct presence on European radio during the transition into the new decade.
