Album Notes & Community Reviews
An incredibly successful conceptual album dealing with the anxieties of modern commuting, industrialization, and personal alienation. Chris Rea's signature slide guitar work and smoky baritone are framed within polished, atmospheric pop-rock production. The title track, a bluesy reflection on being trapped in traffic on the M25, became one of his most iconic and enduring global hits.
