Album Notes & Community Reviews

Serving as his sophomore effort, 'Don't It Drag On' firmly establishes the artist as a premier interpreter and writer within the American folk-blues tradition. The production wraps his distinct, foot-tapping acoustic fingerpicking and smoky vocals in tasteful, understated full-band arrangements. Although commercial success eluded him at the time, the record is now recognized as a timeless classic of seventies acoustic Americana.
