Album Notes & Community Reviews
Retreating once again to historic RCA Studio A with producer Dave Cobb, the country powerhouse delivers a remarkably stripped-down, emotionally resonant set of roots-rock. The album pivots seamlessly between delicate, acoustic love songs and roaring, blues-infected Southern rock, showcasing his unparalleled, gravelly vocal power. The release swept the major country music awards and secured the Grammy for Best Country Album.
