Album Notes & Community Reviews

The visionary New Orleans trumpeter deepens his 'Stretch Music' philosophy, actively dismantling the traditional boundaries between global indigenous music and modern jazz fusion. The album heavily prioritizes dense, polyrhythmic West African percussion alongside his fiery trumpet improvisations, featuring spoken-word contributions from poet Saul Williams. It serves as a profound, deeply spiritual exploration of Pan-African sonic history.
