Album Notes & Community Reviews

The acclaimed New Orleans trumpeter enlisted legendary engineer Rudy Van Gelder to capture this politically charged post-bop session. The album seamlessly bridges 1960s acoustic jazz traditions with subtle, modern indie-rock melodic sensibilities, addressing contemporary social issues without uttering a single lyric.
