Album Notes & Community Reviews

A deeply bizarre collaboration featuring Maso Yamazaki (Masonna) and Fusao Toda (Angel'in Heavy Syrup), this project marries 1960s pop fetishism with incredibly abrasive sonics. 'Shiny Crystal Planet' submerges swinging, vintage psychedelic rock instrumentation entirely underneath overwhelming waves of harsh analog noise. The album represents an incredibly surreal, highly specific intersection of Japanese noise and retro fuzz-rock.
