Album Notes & Community Reviews

The debut studio album by Montreal duo Chromeo, 'She's in Control' was self-produced by David Macklovitch and Patrick Gemayel with Tiga as executive producer. Singles 'You're So Gangsta', 'Destination: Overdrive' and 'Needy Girl' carry its talkbox-laced electro-funk, with UK-edition bonus tracks adding remixes by the DFA and Playgroup. Playful and tongue-in-cheek, it stakes a claim for irony as a dancefloor virtue.
