Heavily indebted to the murky, highly technical Finnish death metal scene of the early 90s (most notably Demilich), this Quebecois outfit delivers a suffocatingly dense debut. The record is driven by impossible, rubbery basslines, guttural frog-like vocals, and lyrical concepts heavily drawn from the 'Legend of Zelda' universe. It was universally embraced by the underground for its immaculate execution of classic, twisted brutality.
