Album Notes & Community Reviews

Capitalizing on an unprecedented international dance craze, this highly commercial release defined the early '60s teen pop market. By pairing an energetic, infectious rhythmic foundation with simple, instructional lyricism, the record broke down social barriers on dancefloors and birthed the modern phenomenon of individual, non-partner dancing.
