Album Notes & Community Reviews

Split between studio recordings with British rhythm sections and energetic live performances, this release became an unexpected commercial triumph for the rock and roll pioneer. The inclusion of the immensely popular, albeit controversial, novelty hit 'My Ding-a-Ling' propelled the album to massive sales, paradoxically earning the legend his only number-one single.
