Album Notes & Community Reviews
The debut studio album from their collaborative project doPE, 'no country for old men' brings together Public Enemy's legendary frontman Chuck D and The Doors' iconic drummer John Densmore. Recorded specifically for Record Store Day, the twelve-track record is a sparse and highly rhythmic collision of conscious hip-hop, raw blues rhythms, and urgent spoken-word poetry. It features the RSD Song of the Year 'Every Tick Tick Tick', delivering an ageless, uncompromising testament to decades of musical and political rebellion.
