Album Notes & Community Reviews

The fourteenth solo studio album from the former Green on Red guitarist acts as a witty, narrative-driven tribute to classic California rock and roll. Dubbed 'California Noir' by the artist himself, the tracking features jangly, mid-tempo roots-rock arrangements supporting his distinctly wry, conversational vocal delivery. The lyricism focuses on the gritty, often tragic mythos of American pop culture, heavily addressing the mysterious death of the titular 1960s rock icon.
