Album Notes & Community Reviews

Teaming up with blockbuster pop producer Greg Kurstin for the first time, the Scottish trio significantly polished their sound for maximum stadium accessibility. The heavily synthesized third album continues to pair Lauren Mayberry's highly emotive, melancholic vocals with massive, aggressively bright electro-pop hooks. While alienating some early indie purists with its sheer commercial gloss, it firmly established them as major festival headliners.
