Screen Violence

Screen Violence cover art

Recorded primarily in isolation during the pandemic, the Scottish trio's fourth album utilizes horror cinema tropes to explore themes of misogyny, internet toxicity, and isolation. Stepping away from the polished sheen of their previous record, the band reintroduced prominent live guitars and darker, driving post-punk influences alongside their signature massive synthesizer hooks. It notably features a high-profile guest appearance from The Cure's Robert Smith.
